  • Miranda Refit (Like the Reliant)  - This build is consuming me.  I appreciate those of you who have expressed admiration for the TOS Miranda... This build makes me want to rebuild that previous effort and half my previous ships.  I keep looking at it, thinking "Really?  I built that?"

Next up:

  • Promethius - By special request of my son I will be building a model of the Promethius class.  The original ship concept is a nested compound  ship that can separate into three fully capable warships.  Coincidentally one of those separation interfaces is along a single cardinal plane.  I'm experimenting with the idea of creating the Promethius as a dockable two ship system where one of the halves can be detached  as a crewed ally or AI driven combat drone.
  • Galaxy Class (Enterprise D)  - (probably) A few days remain on the survey, but it looks like the Galaxy is a run-away favorite, more than doubling the next runner-up.   This is a BIG ship, and the flipping thing is ALL curves.  On the other hand the design is awfully light on fiddly details.  In a way it may be an easier build than the Miranda Refit... Who am I kidding?  It's a monster and it scares me.  I'll do it anyway.  (Are you sure you don't want a nice friendly little Tholian scout?)

  • Galor class Cardassian cruiser

    You should have a page for projects you have in progress. That way you can get feedback and suggestions as you work, for example: if you were making an Intrepid Class (like Voyager) someone could suggest covering it in plexdoors to imitate the ablative generator (as seen on tho last episode of voyager).

    Hi, I hope you can soon work on your galaxy class ship, can't wait to help, this is APRman1 btw, anyways Just to let you know I have already have made the enterprise E and nobody seems to like it, you could probably make a better enterprise E then me I'm just telling you this aloud.

    The Galaxy class is aptly named. It's Frimping well huge. I'm not declining the project... but I have a couple projects to hit first.

    no one that ive see has attempted any cardassian ships i would love it if u could try building a galor class cruiser ta:)

    Coincidentally, I was just looking at a detailed model of the Galor. I don't think it would be a difficult build. No (fewer) subtle compound contours like you find on the Fed/Klingon/Romulan ships. I'll add it to the "to build" list. Thanks for the suggestion.
